Common issues
Romaji is not showing on a page
Check that the extension is enabled — click the toolbar icon and confirm the overlay is toggled on. Also check your settings to see if you've excluded that site. If neither applies, try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, report it with the URL and your browser version.
The overlay looks crowded
Some sites use tightly-packed layouts that don't leave room for ruby annotations. Try reducing the overlay font size in settings (Pro), or use the site exclusion (Pro) to disable the overlay on that specific site.
A very large page is slow to annotate
Pages with very large amounts of Japanese text (for example, full books or very long articles) may take a moment to annotate. This is a known limitation. You can exclude the site if needed, and we're working on performance improvements for dense-text pages.
My Pro access is not restoring
Make sure you are signed in with the same Google account used for your purchase. Try the Refresh Status button, then sign out and sign back in if needed. If the issue continues, reinstall the extension or contact us with your account email.
